Sponge city construction case
The Guangdong Provincial Sun Yat-sen Library, which started construction in 2005 and completed its reconstruction and expansion project in 2010, uses environmentally friendly and energy-saving methods such as rainwater harvesting, solar power supply, natural lighting, and ventilation to create a comfortable environment for readers. The museum does not require air conditioning for three quarters a year, saving 50% of energy and greatly saving energy consumption. The entire project focuses on advocating ecology, prioritizing energy conservation, and enriching humanities, fully embodying the three core values of modernity, nature and humanities.
We provide high-intensity permeable floor tiles for the entire park. Rainwater is purified through an underground recycling system and then recycled for greening irrigation and spraying cooling; rainwater penetrates into the underground soil through the permeable floor tiles to replenish water to plants; when the temperature rises, underground water passes through the permeable floor tiles evaporate on the surface to remove heat. As soon as you enter the park, the towering ancient trees are green and lush, with thick shades covering the sun, quiet, peaceful and cool. The project was designed by Guangzhou City Design Institute and became the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development's Double Hundred Low-Energy Building Demonstration Project, and the "Eleventh Five-Year Plan" science and technology support plan-Renewable Energy and Building Integration Demonstration Project.
